We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
As a dental hygienist, I am here to help my patients prevent disease and maintain a healthy mouth and smile by providing routine cleanings, X-rays, periodontal evaluations, and fluoride treatments. What satisfies me most about my job is when I’ve encouraged a patient to improve upon their oral hygiene and then seeing the changes that they have made to move towards a level of optimal oral health. I love working with Dr. Sones and the rest of Cambridge Smiles team because of our mission and vision to provide a practice that makes our patients feel at home. Through open communication and collaboration with each other, we allow ourselves to provide our patients with the best dental care available.
I enjoy working out in my free time, and have run both the Boston and the Chicago Marathons. Seeing the world is another one of my passions, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in a dental office in Switzerland for a year, volunteer in Guatemala on a medical/dental trip, and even trekked to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal! When I’m at home, I cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
Along with the rest of our team, I love watching the positive changes in our patients’ smiles and oral health as they become a part of our dental family. I perform dental cleanings and provide patients with education regarding their smile. It’s vital to me that my patients understand why it’s important to have great oral health and how to achieve it. Our team is a caring, fun, down to earth, approachable group of people who genuinely care about our patients.
Spending time with my loved ones is the most important thing to me. When I have time, I enjoy traveling and trying new restaurants and cuisines.
I work side by side with Dr. Sones to help increase the efficiency of appointments and help maintain patient comfort during procedures. Working in a general dental office gives me the chance to assist during a variety of procedures, which keeps each day fresh and exciting! I enjoy meeting new people, having the opportunity to help them, and watching their smiles transform! As a team, we work together well and help each other. We all do our best to give our patients the best care possible, and it shows in their smiles!
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters. I love going on vacation every year to the Caribbean, especially Mexico or Puerto Rico, where I am from!
As your Patient Care Coordinator, I am your go-to for any questions regarding scheduling, insurance, billing, and anything in between! When you contact the office, I am typically the one who answers the phone and responds to emails (I also control the office music playlist, so let me know if you have any recommendations). I love being the first point of contact with patients as it sets the tone for the experience they will have in our care. We have a small office that allows us to give very personalized care and build strong relationships; I look forward to meeting you and helping you become a part of that! As someone who used to have extreme dental anxiety, working here absolutely changed my outlook and understanding of dentistry-I feel so safe here, and I'm always happy to talk to anyone about any anxieties they may have! Outside of dental reception-ing (?), you can usually find me involved in visual and performing arts. I also love watching TV until the obscenely early hours of the morning, which I've been told probably isn't healthy or something to brag about, and yet it feels vital to share.
I am the newest and most important member of the Cambridge Smiles team. You will find me sleeping under the front desk or getting my belly rubbed, hopefully by you! Don't worry, I don't go into the clinical areas of the office (I failed dental school). Think of me as your welcome committee/chief emotional support officer. When I am not clocked in at the office, I enjoy walks outside with Dr. Sonesand barking at other dogs. It's the little things. I never say no to a good treat. Or a hundred. I'm not picky.
