The most important part of dentistry for me is making sure my patients feel comfortable and cared for. I feel very fortunate as a general dentist to be able to form long-term relationships with patients where I can improve their oral health while also getting to see them grow as people in their own lives. As a healthcare professional I am dedicated to making sure my patients are getting the care they deserve and will strive to do this for each and every one of them.

    Education

Before I became a dentist, I had the opportunity to work “behind the scenes” in healthcare. My first job after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of San Diego was doing research and manufacturing cancer treatments for a multitude of diseases. This experience in pharmaceuticals gave me insight into the treatments we use in healthcare, but it also helped me realize that I wanted to interact with patients. After this realization, I completed my Masters in Global Medicine at the University of Southern California while shadowing many dentists in my area. This degree opened my eyes up to how healthcare can be applied on a global scale while the shadowing confirmed my goal to become a dentist. I then attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, which I earned with honors.

    Outside the Office

I am originally from California and love the outdoors! Now that I am on the east coast, I cannot wait to explore New England and all it has to offer. In my free time, I love cooking and trying new places to eat. My favorite kinds of restaurants are hole-in-the wall places where the staff makes you feel at home. One of my favorite things to do is make food videos of new recipes, if you have a favorite restaurant don’t forget to let me know the name when you come in to see us!
